Drop-In Classes

In our new hour-long drop-in classes at 144 Montague St, teachers guide students through generative writing exercises and/or discussions of poems using different model poems, lessons and prompts each session. Weekly or biweekly sessions focus around different forms, themes and approaches to reading and writing poetry. Sharing of work by participants is encouraged but optional. Note that drop-in classes are not a forum for critique of work; students looking for critique should register for multi-week workshops.

All in-person classes at 144 Montague St currently require participants to wear masks. Participants agree to abide by our code of conduct and COVID-19 policy.
